Job Description Electrical Shift Technician n Ebbw Vale, South Wales Up to £50,000 + Overtime + Call-Out Allowance n Yolk Recruitment is representing an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Shift Technician to join an established manufacturing business in South Wales. This role offers a varied workload across maintenance, projects and continuous improvement activities, alongside significant investment in training and development. n What You’ll Do: n n Carry out reactive and planned maintenance across a range of production and process equipment. n Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to minimise downtime and support operational performance. n Complete preventative maintenance activities to maximise plant reliability. n Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and engineering improvement projects. n Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to ensure operational targets are achieved. n Support health and safety standards by ensuring equipment remains compliant and safe to operate. n Participate in a structured call-out rota and provide engineering support when required. n Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site. n n What You’ll Bring: n n Time-served electrical apprenticeship. n ONC or equivalent engineering qualification. n Experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment. n Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. n Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment. n Good communication and team-working skills. n Flexible approach to shifts and overtime requirements. n n Desirable : n n PLC experience, ideally Allen Bradley or Mitsubishi. n Instrumentation and process control knowledge. n Variable speed drive experience. n Hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge. n 18th Edition qualification. n Experience using maintenance management systems. n n Why You Should Apply: n n Salary package up to £50,000 including shift allowance. n Overtime earning potential. n Call-out allowance. n Comprehensive training and development plan. n Training on PLCs, instrumentation and automation systems. n FLT, MEWP and overhead crane training provided. n Opportunity to work on capital projects and plant improvements. n n Ready to Apply? n Contact Andy Jones to find out more. n Please apply with a CV and a cover letter outlining why you’re perfect for the role. n Know someone great for the job?
