Indirect Tax Director

Overview

As Director in the Indirect Tax North team, you will drive growth for KPMG’s VAT-focused practice across the UK. You’ll lead market-facing initiatives, build senior client relationships, and shape insightful tax advisory for diverse clients. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional experts and mentor junior staff while upholding KPMG’s inclusive culture. This role offers a chance to scale the Indirect Tax business and strengthen KPMG’s market reputation through high-impact client work.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate business growth in the Indirect Tax North practice
• Build and manage relationships with senior client stakeholders and targets
• Lead market-facing initiatives, pitch for work, and drive sales domestically and internationally
• Develop internal networks across tax, legal and advisory practices
• Set the standard for insightful, technically accurate client deliverables
• Communicate with impact to senior internal and external audiences
• Interact with senior leaders while mentoring junior team members
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative team culture and maintain high client service standards
