Is this the role you are looking for If so read on for more details, and make sure to apply today.Location: GloucestershireRate: Competitive day rateContract Type: ContractMilford RES is seeking an experienced Construction Manager for a gas compressor construction project based in Gloucestershire.This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Construction Manager with experience delivering complex construction or engineering works within the gas, energy, utilities or infrastructure sectors.You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site construction activities, coordinating subcontractors and site teams, and ensuring the works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with the project programme and quality requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and coordinate all on-site construction activities for the gas compressor project.Supervise subcontractors, site teams and specialist contractors to ensure works are delivered to programme.Ensure all construction activities comply with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.Coordinate daily site operations, labour, plant, materials and equipment.Monitor progress against the construction programme and report any delays or issues.Work closely with the Project Manager, engineering teams and client representatives to resolve site issues.Review construction methodologies, risk assessments and method statements.Ensure permits, site inductions, toolbox talks and safe systems of work are implemented as required.Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and construction documentation.Support inspection, testing, commissioning and project handover activities.RequirementsProven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar senior site management role.Experience delivering construction projects within the gas, oil and gas, energy, utilities or industrial infrastructure sectors.Strong knowledge of site safety, construction methods and contractor management.Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing site resources.Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications and project programmes.Strong leadership, organisation and problem-solving skills.Relevant construction or site management qualifications are advantageous.Gas industry safety qualifications or relevant site certifications are desirable, depending on project requirements.The OpportunityThis contract position offers the chance to play a key role in the successful delivery of a major gas compressor project in Gloucestershire.We are looking for a proactive, safety-focused Construction Manager who can take ownership of site delivery, coordinate multiple work fronts and maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.Interested? xwwtmva Apply today or contact Milford RES for a confidential discussion about the role and contract opportunity….
