Finance Officer

Overview

In this role you support the Finance Team to manage budgets across multiple sites, ensuring sound financial control and timely reporting. You will work closely with leaders to monitor budgets, support forecasting, and provide financial insights to guide decisions. The role emphasizes strong stakeholder collaboration, procurement awareness, and accurate payroll and payment processing. This is a hands-on position in a stable finance function, offering exposure to budgeting, reporting, and cost control within a real-world site environment.

Responsibilities

• Produce, monitor and report on budgets across multiple sites
• Monthly budget monitoring and variance analysis
• Payroll monitoring and reconciliation
• Process BACS payments, post transactions, issue remittances
• Advise stakeholders on procurement and value-for-money initiatives
• Support financial planning and forecasting activities
• Provide financial insight to support decision-making

Key requirements

• Experience with monthly budget monitoring and financial reporting
• Payroll reconciliation and analysis experience
• Experience processing BACS payment runs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
