M&E Manager

Overview

As M&E Site Manager, you will lead on-site management of mechanical and electrical works for a high-profile residential-led development in London. You will coordinate installations with the overall construction programme, supervise quality and safety, and drive commissioning and handover alongside the project team. Your role ensures M&E packages are delivered safely, on time, and to required standards, contributing to the project’s success and long-term build quality. This permanent position offers exposure to large-scale schemes with a developer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all M&E subcontractors on site
• Coordinate M&E installations with the construction programme
• Monitor quality, progress and compliance across M&E works
• Collaborate with Project Manager and design team to resolve technical issues
• Oversee testing, commissioning and final handover
• Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements

Key requirements

• Experience as M&E Site Manager on large residential, mixed-use or commercial developments
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical packages
• Experience with a main contractor or developer
• Excellent coordination and communication skills
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications
