The Job in a Nutshell:
Essentially, your job will be to take charge of the day-to-day running of a substantial new-build construction project in Belfast, making sure everything runs safely, smoothly and on schedule.
We’re recruiting two Site Managers for two separate care home developments, each offering something slightly different:
Project 1 Groundworks & Structural Construction
You’ll oversee the early construction stages, including site preparation, excavation, foundations, drainage, underground services, reinforced concrete and structural works.
Project 2 Four-Storey New-Build Care Home
You’ll manage the progression of a multi-storey development, coordinating structural works, brickwork, internal trades, M&E installations, finishing works and eventual handover.
Both roles involve managing subcontractors, coordinating labour and materials, monitoring quality, maintaining health and safety standards and keeping construction programmes on track.
Don’t worry, you’ll have the support of an experienced Contracts Manager and wider construction team.
Should You Apply?
We think candidates with proven Site Management experience within main contracting, general building or new-build construction should apply.
After reviewing the requirements, if you’ve successfully managed subcontractors, coordinated construction programmes and delivered building projects to a high standard, you’ll have a strong chance of being successful.
We’re particularly interested in speaking with Site Managers who have experience in either:
Groundworks & Structural Construction Foundations, drainage, reinforced concrete, substructures and taking projects out of the ground.
General Building & Multi-Storey Construction Managing multiple trades, structural works, internal fit-out and projects through to completion.
You’ll need strong technical construction knowledge, good leadership skills and a full UK driving licence.
SMSTS, CSR/CSCS management cards and First Aid qualifications would be advantageous.
Previous care home experience isn’t essential. If you’ve delivered residential, commercial, healthcare or similar new-build projects, we’d be keen to hear from you.
