The Role:As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
Lead cost planning, budgeting and project forecasting
Prepare and manage cost estimates, tenders and contracts
Monitor and control project costs to support value and profitability
Manage commercial risks linked to costs, contracts and procurement
Oversee subcontractor and supplier agreements
Provide financial reporting, cash flow updates and reconciliations
Deliver cost advice and value engineering recommendations
Work closely with project managers, design teams and procurement teams
The Person:The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
5+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Social Housing / Residential experience
Strong knowledge of cost management, tendering and contracts
Excellent negotiation, analytical and communication skills
Confidence using cost management software and MS Office
