3rd Line Engineer, MSP

Overview

In this role you join a growing IT MSP to deliver expert third-line support and consultancy for a diverse client base. You will resolve complex incidents, manage projects, and ensure adherence to client SLAs, while staying current with industry trends. You’ll work closely with clients and the broader team to shape effective IT solutions and maintain high customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Provide reactive and proactive IT support and incident management for multiple clients
• Monitor and maintain systems and networks
• Install and configure systems and applications
• Diagnose hardware and software faults and guide clients through troubleshooting
• Support updates and roll-outs for client applications and train users as needed
• Follow SLA-based ticket handling and manage multiple open tickets
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional service

Key requirements

• 3–5 years’ experience as a 3rd Line Engineer in an MSP
• Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 knowledge
• Microsoft Exchange/O365 experience
• Active Directory administration
• VMware or Hyper-V experience
• DNS/DHCP/Group Policy knowledge
• Networking and firewall experience
• Backup and restore procedures
• Full UK Driving License
