Responsibilities

• Define and evolve the technology roadmap for Legal AI, Knowledge and Document Management platforms to meet current and future needs
• Act as the firm’s lead technical specialist for Legal AI technologies and ecosystem integration
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cyber Security, Engineering and Data teams to design secure, scalable solutions
• Lead design and delivery of integrations between knowledge/AI platforms and core enterprise technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, DMS)
• Provide technical governance to inform technology selection and investment decisions across Knowledge and AI initiatives
• Work with vendors and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical designs and long-term platform strategies

Key requirements

• Extensive experience in a Technical Architect or Solution Architect role, preferably in professional services or knowledge-intensive environments
• Solid understanding of Legal AI technologies and trends; experience with legal tech platforms is advantageous
• Experience with document management, enterprise search, knowledge management or collaboration platforms (e.g., SharePoint, iManage)
• Knowledge of information architecture, metadata, taxonomy, enterprise search and KM principles
• Understanding of cloud, security-by-design, IAM and data governance
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence across business and technology teams
