Pre-Construction Manager / Project Manager | £65k – £75k + Package
Are you a Project Manager looking to move away from day-to-day site management and get more involved in the early stages of construction projects?
We’re recruiting for an established main contractor looking to strengthen its pre-construction team in West Yorkshire.
The business delivers a varied workload across commercial, industrial, education and public-sector projects throughout Yorkshire.
This role will focus on taking projects through the pre-construction stages, working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams to ensure schemes are properly planned before moving to site.
The Role;
- Manage projects through the pre-construction stages and into delivery
- Coordinate design, estimating, planning and commercial teams
- Review buildability, construction methods and project programmes
- Support tender submissions, procurement and contractor appointments
- Identify project risks and develop practical solutions
- Liaise with clients, consultants and the wider project team
- Ensure a smooth handover from pre-construction to operational teams
What We’re Looking For;
- Experience as a Project Manager or Pre-Construction Manager with a main contractor
- Strong understanding of new build construction and project deliveryGood knowledge of programming, procurement and construction methods
- Confident coordinating design, commercial and operational teams
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
- Open to Project Managers looking to move away from site-based delivery
