The opportunity
I’m working with a leading international law firm looking to appoint a Senior Associate to join its Corporate Tax practice in London.
This is an opportunity for an experienced corporate tax lawyer to work on complex, high-value transactions, advising a broad range of clients across private capital, investment structuring and cross-border deals.
The role offers exposure to sophisticated transactional work, working closely with colleagues across corporate, finance, funds and real estate practices.
Key responsibilities
- Advising on UK and international corporate tax matters across complex transactions.
- Structuring private capital investments, including private equity, private credit and investment fund structures.
- Advising on joint ventures, acquisitions, disposals and cross-border investments.
- Supporting transactions involving real estate, infrastructure and alternative investment strategies.
- Preparing detailed tax structuring papers, technical advice and transaction-related documentation.
- Working collaboratively with corporate, funds and finance teams to deliver commercially focused solutions.
- Building strong client relationships and contributing to the development of the wider tax practice.
What we’re looking for
- A qualified solicitor with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE) in corporate tax.
- Experience gained within an established international or leading City law firm.
- Strong transactional tax and structuring experience, ideally involving private equity, private capital or investment funds.
- Exposure to cross-border transactions, joint ventures and complex investment structures.
- The ability to provide clear, commercially focused advice on technically challenging matters.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to work directly with clients and senior stakeholders.
