Commercial Transformation and Operations Manager

Overview

In this role you will drive transformation within the Legal function and support cross-functional enablement across Baringa. You will map and simplify processes, identify opportunities for automation, and prototype AI-enabled tooling to demonstrate value. You will manage the CLM platform roadmap, adoption, and ongoing improvements while coordinating with legal and technology teams. You will build trusted relationships, deliver changes end-to-end, and help shape Legal strategy and operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This is a people-centric opportunity to scale processes and technology across the firm’s enablement portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Map current and future-state processes and guidelines; simplify user workflows
• Identify and prioritise opportunities for automation, AI, and digital tools across Legal and enablement teams
• Prototype proofs of concept and test agent-based solutions to demonstrate value
• Delivery and governance of the CLM platform roadmap, including adoption, training, and improvements
• Manage transformation projects from discovery to business-as-usual, including testing, communications, and training
• Support the General Counsel with Legal function planning, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination
• Coordinate leadership meetings, strategy sessions, and executive reporting

Key requirements

• Experience in transformation, legal operations, business analysis, process improvement, or related field
• Strong process mapping and guidance skills
• Practical understanding of automation, AI and digital tools; ability to shape requirements and test prototypes
• Experience supporting enterprise technology platforms through configuration, testing, releases, training and adoption; legal tech experience desirable
• Ability to translate business needs into prioritised requirements and collaborate with SMEs and technical teams
• Strong project delivery, risk and stakeholder management capabilities
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills; collaborative across Business Enablement and technology teams
