Air Import Supervisor

Overview

In this role you take ownership of a fast-paced airfreight import operation within CEVA’s gateway structure. You will lead daily import activities, coordinate with airlines, handling and transport partners, and ensure compliant, high-quality service. You’ll coach the team, monitor KPIs, and maintain clear communication across internal and external stakeholders. This position offers hands-on leadership in a dynamic logistics environment with a clear impact on end-to-end movement and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

• Oversee daily gateway activities for air import to ensure smooth operations
• Supervise and coach team members to drive performance and uphold standards
• Coordinate with airlines, handling agents, transport providers, and warehouse teams
• Validate documentation and shipment tasks and monitor KPIs
• Communicate priorities and support cross-functional collaboration across the team
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and customs requirements
• Provide hands-on supervision and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment

Key requirements

• Proven experience in air freight import operations
• Solid understanding of regulatory and customs requirements
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide a team
• Strong communication with customers and internal stakeholders
• Proficiency with logistics systems (e.g., CargoWise) is advantageous
• Proactive, detail-focused, and solution-driven with strong task management
