Welder / Fabricator

Job Overview

• MIG welding on plant machinery




• Completing fabrication work in the workshop




• Fabricating steelwork for the maintenance of our vehicles




• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment




• Ensuring the correct materials and tools are available to complete each task




• Working both independently and as part of a small team

Skills and Experience

• A good knowledge of welding, with at least 3 years’ practical experience




• Driving licence




• CSCS card or other skills cards (desirable, but not essential)




• A proactive and responsible approach to health and safety




• Good punctuality




• Attention to detail

Summary of the Position

This is not a fast-moving job involving production lines or fixed completion targets and deadlines. The role involves working at a steady pace, completing work to a high standard and getting it right the first time.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday
