Senior Employment Solicitor – remote working

Overview

In this role you will lead and shape a high-performing employment litigation team within a leading international firm. You supervise complex tribunal matters and help set the strategic direction of the litigation practice, working with partners on a significant client portfolio. You will drive innovative, tech-enabled methods of working, including AI, to redefine how employment litigation is delivered. This position offers impactful client advisory work and opportunities to scale a diverse team while maintaining senior leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support and grow a team of employment lawyers delivering high-quality litigation services
• Supervise and develop junior team members
• Build strong client relationships and act as trusted adviser to key stakeholders
• Drive innovative, technology-enabled ways of working, including AI and process improvements
• Oversee delivery across a significant client portfolio
• Supervise complex Employment Tribunal matters

Key requirements

• Qualified lawyer with strong academic background
• Solid experience in employment law, including redundancy, unfair dismissal and discrimination
• Strong Employment Tribunal experience with complex claims
• Experience using AI
• Advising on day-to-day HR issues, including grievance matters and Settlement Agreements
• Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers
• Strong leadership skills
• 7 years+ PQE
