A highly regarded and growing legal practice is looking to appoint an experienced Real Estate Development Solicitor to join its successful development team. You’ll work with an impressive client base that includes developers, landowners, funders, and occupiers, advising on a varied portfolio of residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic land development projects.

The Role
You will manage your own caseload of complex and high-value development matters while acting as a trusted adviser to clients. The position combines technical legal work with client relationship management, team leadership, and business development responsibilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising on residential, commercial, mixed-use, and strategic land development schemes
- Managing high-value and complex development transactions from inception to completion
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of transactional and development documentation
- Conducting title investigations, due diligence exercises, lender reporting, and preparing certificates of title
- Managing key client relationships and delivering commercially focused legal advice
- Supporting financial and matter management, including WIP, billing, and client reporting
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members
- Contributing to business development, networking, and marketing initiatives
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be a qualified Solicitor with strong Real Estate Development experience
- Have a solid track record handling residential and/or commercial development matters
- Demonstrate excellent technical knowledge and commercial awareness
- Be confident managing client relationships and running transactions independently
- Enjoy mentoring and supporting junior lawyers
- Be ambitious, proactive, and motivated to contribute to the growth of a successful team
