The role of the Estimator – Building Services will involve:Estimator position dealing with a range of mechanical, electrical and air-conditioning systems/services for commercial, residential and industrial sectorsReview tender enquiries to determine scope of works and project deadlinesWorking on projects where each product/system is unique and therefore requires a bespoke approachTaking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlinesKeep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal databaseContact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical informationEstablish and maintain relationships with contractors and suppliersManaging projects up-to a value of £150k+The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Building Services with:Must have experience as an Estimator working within the M&E or HVAC sectorsReliable and approachable to build positive working relationshipsConfident and professional communicator, with a proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider teamAbility to interpret project requirements and translate them into accurate cost plansStrong numerical, analytical and commercial skillsIT Literate particularly excelMitchell Maguire is a specialist construction recruitment consultancy, dealing exclusively with construction jobs, construction vacancies and specification positions within: Estimator, Estimating
