Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm

Are you experienced in operating automated or CNC woodworking machinery and looking for your next opportunity?

We’re currently looking for an Automatic Crosscut Saw Operator to join a busy timber operation in Corby. You’ll be working with a Hundegger automatic crosscut saw, producing accurately cut timber components to meet production requirements.

What will you be doing?

• Setting up and operating the automatic crosscut saw
• Entering cutting lists and ensuring the machine is correctly programmed
• Inspecting timber for defects and making the best use of each piece to minimise waste
• Measuring and checking finished timber for accuracy and quality
• Carrying out routine machine checks, cleaning and blade changes
• Working safely and following all site health and safety procedures

What are we looking for? Ideally, you’ll have:

• Previous experience operating automated or CNC woodworking machinery
• A good understanding of timber, including common defects
• Strong measuring skills and excellent attention to detail
• A reliable, practical approach to work
• A good attitude towards health and safety
• A valid forklift licence

What’s on offer?

• £14+ per hour, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
