QC Team Leader

Overview

In this role you lead the Quality Control team at a chemicals site, ensuring final products meet client specifications and implementing improvements across testing. You work closely with cross-functional colleagues to drive data-driven quality enhancements and uphold health and safety on site. You will apply a range of analytical techniques, including HPLC, to support product release and continuous quality improvements. This is a hands-on, leadership role with a focus on high standards and impactful change.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day QC team activities
• Ensure health and safety rules on site are followed
• Verify final product specifications using multiple analytical methods
• Identify and implement improvements to QC testing
• Maintain and update QC records and data
• Analyze QC investigations to drive improvements
• Drive continuous change and best practices across the team

Key requirements

• Degree in Chemistry (or similar)
• Recent proven industrial QC experience in the chemicals industry with broad analytical methods preferred
• Recent proven industrial experience managing a QC team
