Associate – Catastrophic Loss

Overview

In this role you will support the Catastrophic Loss team by handling a challenging multi-track PI caseload and assisting on high-value matters for insurers and corporate clients. You will contribute to delivering strong service, build key client relationships, and stay ahead of developments in catastrophic injury and insurance law. The hybrid role sits within a leading UK team known for handling complex cases and driving progress. Responsibilities

• Manage a multi-track personal injury caseload and assist senior team members on high-value complex cases
• Advise insurers and corporate clients on liability, quantum, and litigation strategy
• Draft documents, prepare for court, and participate in settlement negotiations
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service
• Stay updated on developments in catastrophic injury and insurance law

Key requirements

• 2-5 years PQE
• Experience handling or assisting on defendant multi-track personal injury cases (EL/PL/RTA)
• Strong technical knowledge of personal injury law, liability, and quantum assessment
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships
