Senior Staff Consulting Architect – Kubernetes/Ai

Overview

In this role you will design and implement scalable AI/Kubernetes infrastructure on Nutanix HCI, tailoring solutions to client needs. You’ll guide best-practice Kubernetes configurations for AI workloads and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with AI initiatives. You’ll document configurations, monitor performance, and support GPU-accelerated AI workflows, delivering tangible client impact. Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable AI/Kubernetes infrastructure on Nutanix HCI platforms
• Advise on Kubernetes configuration best practices for AI workloads
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure with client AI initiatives
• Develop and maintain deployment guides and knowledge resources
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance for high availability and efficiency
• Serve as SME on GPU acceleration technologies and their integration in AI workflows
• Engage with clients to troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support
• Achieve measurable improvements in client satisfaction and project outcomes within the first year

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years designing and implementing infrastructure for data-intensive or AI/Kubernetes workloads
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes
• Knowledge of deployment lifecycle and resource requirements for AI/Kubernetes models including LLM inference
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Experience with GPU acceleration technologies (e.g., NVIDIA CUDA) in containerized environments
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Excellent client-facing communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, customer-facing environment
• Experience with Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) platforms is a strong plus
