We are recruiting 2 Care Assistants to work in a nursing and respite care home for older people, individuals with dementia and physical disabilities located in Broadways Nursing Home based in Larne. This is a temporary ongoing position expected to run a minimum of three months, with a likelihood of extension.
Pay rates range from £13.50£17.50, depending on the shift worked, with double time on Bank Holidays.
Your day-to-day duties will include helping with personal care, supporting residents with daily activities, encouraging independence and making sure the home remains a safe, comfortable and caring place to live. You will work alongside experienced care and nursing staff and become an important part of the team.
What We Need From You
- 3 months experience in a Healthcare Setting, including personal care
- To be Niscc registered, or willing to apply
- To have, or be willing to attend all mandatory training courses
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced Access Ni check
