Estimating Manager

Overview

As Estimating Manager, you lead the Scotland regional growth for a well-established construction supplier of dry walling and structural products. You balance client relationship management with delivering accurate estimates and ensuring projects meet high-quality standards. You will manage a small team and drive commercial success through contractual negotiations and continuous improvement. This role combines strategic region development with hands-on estimating and project oversight, offering meaningful impact on growth and operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage all estimates aligned with project requirements
• Develop and execute regional strategy for Scotland
• Participate in contract negotiations and attend customer meetings
• Contribute to continuous improvement and oversee site operations under your control
• Manage and develop a small team and maintain client relationships
• Ensure commercial success and adherence to high-quality standards across projects

Key requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ experience running projects and engaging with clients
• NEBOSH qualified
• Experience in a construction environment
• Track record of providing estimates, negotiating contracts, and managing budgets
