Salary: 40,000 basic salary

- On-call allowance: 10 standby payment plus 30 for every call-out attended
- One weekend in three on-call rota (expected to improve as additional staff join the team)

We are seeking skilled and motivated Electricians / Approved Electricians to join a growing electrical team based in Aberdeen. Applications from candidates based in Angus, Dundee and Elgin are also welcome.
n
The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installations, maintenance, and testing across commercial and industrial sites. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of projects while developing your career within a supportive and safety-focused environment.
n n n Responsibilities include but are not limited to:n n n
- n
- Carrying out electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and current building regulations
- Performing inspection, testing, and certification of electrical systems
- Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently and safely
- Supervising apprentices and junior electricians
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance records
- Liaising with clients and site managers to ensure smooth project delivery
- Carrying out regular PPM visits
- Reviewing engineers' reports and pricing remedial works accordingly, ensuring accuracy and profitability

n n n Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:n n n
- n
- SJIB Electrician / Approved Electrician status or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS Gold Card
- C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (preferred)
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices
- Full UK driving licence
- EV experience desirable
- IPAF 3a & 3b desirable
