C+E (Class 1) Driver

About the role

Here at GXO Dagenham,RM9 6PR, we are currently recruiting for HGV Category C+E (Class 1) powder tanker drivers to join our transport team supporting our customer, Breedon Cement. Responsibilities

• Single drop deliveries (typically between 2 and 3 per shift) from our Dagenham depot to manufacturing and construction industry customers
• Load and discharge powder products (predominantly cement) under pressure from tanker to silo
• Maintain clear communication with the transport office regarding any issues and provide exceptional service to our customers
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time

Requirements

• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 current penalty points

• £49,192 per annum (based on 50 hours per week)

Contract & Location

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday, minimum of 48 hours per week guaranteed pay, with start times generally between 04:00 to 06:00 with paid breaks! Dagenham, RM9 6PR.
