About the role
As a care support worker in Blaby, you’ll provide personalised, one-to-one care in customers’ homes. Above all, you’ll respect each person’s individuality, dignity and independence.
Your role will involve travelling within Blaby to deliver care agreed between each customer and Caremark Hinckley Bosworth Blaby & Leicester. For example, you may support someone who needs extra help due to age, illness, disability or a long-term health condition.
In addition to practical support, you’ll offer companionship and reassurance. As a result, your visits can make a real difference to someone’s daily life.
What you’ll help with
Depending on each customer’s needs, your role may include:
- Washing, bathing and dressing
- Shopping and preparing meals
- Medication prompts and support
- Daily routines and wellbeing
- Respite support
- Companionship
- Socialising and leisure activities
- Accessing the local community
What we’re looking for

You’ll also need a full UK driving licence. Although experience is welcome, it’s not essential, as full training is provided.
