CNC Turner – Setter/Operator

Working 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, our client is seeking an experience CNC Turner – Setter/Operator to join their precision engineering team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines with Fanuc controls.
• Setting tooling, work offsets and machine parameters.
• Loading and adjusting programmes as required.
• Running production machines, monitoring output and maintaining quality.
• Inspecting components using precision measuring equipment and working to engineering drawings.
• Identifying and resolving machining issues to maintain production efficiency and quality.

Person Requirements:

• Previous experience setting CNC turning machines.
• Experience with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use precision measuring equipment.
• Sliding head experience would be an advantage, but not essential.

Salary level is based on the experience that the person has and if they have covered all the tasks previously
