Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an Area Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in Cardiff!
You will also be required to support with other contracts in the Cardiff area.
Contract Information
- Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
- Hours: 42 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: A mixture of 8-12-hour shifts. Days & Nights
- SIA Licence: Door Supervisor
Requirements
- Valid SIA license and a Full UK Driving Licence.
- Pass financial checks, have no CCJs or IVAs, and must not have been declared bankrupt.
- Resided in the UK for at least 5 years continuously.
- Ability to answer questions on telephone screen regarding SC Clearance.

Responsibilities
- Patrolling the site, on foot or by vehicle.
- Access and Egress control.
- Monitoring of visitors, staff and customers to the sites.
- Responding to security breaches and medical incidents.
- Ensuring all customer standards are met on each site.
Ideal Candidate
Great communication and customer service skills. Strong IT skills and ability to use all forms of technology and software systems. Aged 18 or over. Confident communicator, team player with drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
