Maintenance Supervisor (4 on 4 off)

Overview

In this role, you will lead a small on-shift engineering team while remaining hands-on with maintenance tasks. You’ll work within a well-established manufacturing environment and contribute to a structured development programme that supports progression. You’ll drive safe, proactive maintenance and maintain records using SAP, with responsibility for shift handovers and workload delegation. This is a growth-focused position with clear opportunities to increase responsibility as the site expands.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2-engineer on-shift team (3 including you) and delegate workload
• Hands-on maintenance across PPMs and reactive breakdowns
• Perform shift handovers and maintain maintenance records (SAP/notifications)
• Support on a 4-on 4-off shift pattern (days/nights)
• Develop and coach junior engineers on shift

Key requirements

• Mechanical or Electrical maintenance background
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments
• Comfortable leading and developing others (delegation, prioritisation, safety-first)
