MCS Group is delighted to be recruiting a Health & Safety Officer for our client, a growing warehousing, fulfilment and delivery business based in Cookstown.
This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of health and safety compliance while supporting continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain health and safety policies, procedures and documentation.
Conduct risk assessments, inspections and audits.
Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation.
Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
Support the annual BRC audit and maintain compliance records.
Deliver safety training and promote safe working practices.
Identify opportunities to improve health and safety processes.
Criteria
Experience in a Health & Safety Officer, Advisor or similar role.
NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
Experience in risk assessments, inspections and audits.
Good understanding of health and safety legislation.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Experience in warehousing, logistics, manufacturing or construction would be advantageous.
BRC/BRCGS audit experience would be beneficial.
