Overview
In this role you will lead structural design on architecturally ambitious projects, from concept through to completion. You will collaborate with architects, engineers and designers in a forward-thinking, cross-functional team focused on innovative and technically excellent schemes. You’ll mentor junior staff and gain exposure to the commercial side, supporting growth and progression within a dynamic consultancy. This is a chance to shape the built environment on diverse projects across residential, education, hospitality and healthcare sectors.
Responsibilities
- own projects from concept to completion
- liaise with clients, architects and fellow consultants
- mentor and support junior team members
- work on a range of schemes including residential, education, hospitality and healthcare
- engage with the commercial side through quotes, change controls and invoicing
- contribute to strategic growth and continued success of the business
Key requirements
- degree qualified
- Chartered with IStructE or MICE
- at least five years’ UK consultancy experience
- strong technical knowledge of traditional construction materials and temporary works
- proficiency in a 3D design environment
- strong communication with clients and stakeholders
