Overview

As a Senior Manager in Controls Advisory, you help clients manage AI-related risk and build governance and control frameworks. You will lead opportunities across AI GRC services, working with Partner and Director teams to shape engagements and expand Deloitte’s footprint. You’ll oversee delivery across teams, winning client trust and advancing Trustworthy AI capabilities. The role blends business development with hands-on risk and controls work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and convert opportunities for AI GRC services and trustworthy AI
• Engage with client stakeholders to shape bespoke AI risk solutions
• Build cross-firm networks across AI capabilities to support engagements
• Apply problem solving to AI risk and control challenges; design governance and operating models
• Assess and design AI governance models, controls and frameworks
• Manage client relationships and ensure high-quality delivery
• Lead Deloitte delivery teams to achieve client outcomes
• Contribute to thought leadership and industry presentations to drive market eminence
• Support pipeline generation and growth of AI risk capability across the practice
• Collaborate with Partners and Directors to expand market footprint

Key requirements

• Strong understanding of AI trends and market developments
• Solid knowledge of AI risk domains and regulatory context
• Experience in AI governance and operating models
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build client relationships
• Ability to influence internal and client stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in listed disciplines and postgraduate qualification; relevant experience considered a strong asset
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and design commercially viable AI solutions
