Responsibilities

• Lead architectural dispute resolution, claims analysis, and expert witness consultancy
• Work on complex construction disputes and influence outcomes in court or arbitration
• Mentor and develop the technical team, expanding the expert offering
• Develop and position the facade engineering practice within the firm
• Oversee or contribute to forensic investigation work supporting Experts
• Engage with clients and legal teams to define technical strategies and reports

Key requirements

• Senior-level FaÇade Engineer with dispute resolution experience
• Proven track record as Expert Witness in court or working towards it
• 15+ years post-qualification experience as Lead Façade Engineer
• Extensive design and construction experience across building types
• Experience with production information, specifications, and facade design details
• Knowledge of construction contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC)
• On-site design management and value engineering experience
• Strong English written and verbal communication
• Knowledge of legal processes and construction law
• Chartered status and ideally additional qualifications
