Panel Beater

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable independent automotive accident repair centre based in Cardiff, for the position of vehicle panel beater. The vehicle panel beater will join a busy team working within modern facilities, reporting to the Centre Manager. Duties

• Carry out replacement and repair of damaged or compromised bodywork panels
• Conduct chassis and framework repairs to industry standards as thePanel Beater
• Accurately assess vehicle damage and apply appropriate repair methods
• Repair bumpers and doors as thePanel Beater
• Ensure all panel beating and repair works meet internal and third-party quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient and safe centre operations

Requirements

• Proven experience as a vehicle panel beater
• Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred, but strong “on the job” experience will be considered
• Good attention to detail with high standards of workmanship
• Team player with excellent communication skills
• Ability to multitask effectively
• UK driving licence with minimal points
• ATA accreditation or experience working to BSI 10125 Kitemark Standards is highly desirable but not essential
