We are a specialist roofing contractor delivering high-quality commercial and residential roofing solutions across Hertfordshire, London, and the Home Counties. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support our commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing cost estimates, tenders, and quotations for roofing projects.
• Support the QS team with measurement, take-offs, and bill of quantities.
• Help manage project budgets, valuations, and cost reporting.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
• Assist with contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify completed works.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and commercial records.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in construction or roofing is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with estimating software is a plus.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
