Senior DevOps Engineer – Salesforce

Overview

In this Senior DevOps role, you design, automate and operate the engineering capabilities behind a major Salesforce platform. You will help drive DevSecOps across Salesforce and AWS, ensuring secure, scalable and reliable services. You’ll work with Architects, Developers, Test Engineers and Product Owners to embed automation and raise platform resilience. This is a governance‑led, collaborative environment focused on observability and secure delivery of critical cloud services. You’ll impact how modern Salesforce and cloud services are delivered while shaping engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines across Salesforce and AWS
• Drive automation via Infrastructure as Code, deployment tooling and reusable patterns
• Support availability, performance, resilience and operational stability of Salesforce services across environments
• Embed security controls, automated compliance validation, vulnerability management and secure-by-design principles
• Implement monitoring, logging and alerting to improve observability and incident response
• Support incident, problem and change management while improving DevOps maturity and platform capabilities

Key requirements

• DevOps experience in complex enterprise or highly regulated environments
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code
• Strong AWS cloud engineering expertise and managing cloud-hosted environments
• Experience supporting Salesforce delivery programmes, including release management and environment strategies
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices including security automation, compliance controls and vulnerability management
• Experience with scripting, Git, automated deployments and platform performance optimisation
