Senior Java Developer-AWS-Microservices (Lead I – Software Engineering)

Overview

In this role, you will design and develop features that users find valuable, working within a collaborative, self-organized engineering environment in Nottingham. You will partner with Product Management to shape ideas into deliverables and take ownership of team-owned components. You will push technical excellence, contributing to your domain and solving real-world challenges at scale. This is a hands-on, cloud-enabled backend role that emphasizes quality, collaboration, and impact.

Key requirements

• Experience with AWS / Cloud platforms
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality applications
• Strong Java programming skills and OO principles (SOLID, SOA, HTTP, REST)
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Experience in building APIs and a microservices architecture
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
