Apply for the Adults Integrated Community Social Worker
Location: Melton Mowbray
Job Description:

Hybrid Working | Varied Adult Caseload | Flexible Hours

Enjoy the variety of adult social work, but want flexibility and a team that genuinely supports you?

Your next move doesn’t have to mean choosing between meaningful work and a working week that suits you.

We’re recruiting an experienced Social Worker to join an Integrated Community Team within a council that values a people-first approach. You’ll support adults across a broad range of needs and specialisms, with a community-focused caseload rather than specialist mental health or hospital work.

Why this role stands out

  • Work from home two days a week, alongside community visits and team collaboration
  • Flexible hours, giving you more control over your working week
  • Variety in your practice, without being limited to one adult social care specialism
  • A collaborative team, where your experience and professional judgement are valued
  • Opportunities to develop, building on your existing knowledge and skills

The role

You’ll work with adults, families, and carers to understand what matters to them, assess needs, and develop support that promotes choice and independence. Your varied caseload will include complex assessments, care planning, reviews, safeguarding, and Court of Protection work. Working alongside multidisciplinary colleagues and partner agencies, you’ll help people access the right support while keeping their wishes at the centre of decisions.

What you’ll need

  • A recognised Social Work qualification
  • Current Social Work England registration
  • At least three years’ post-qualification experience
  • Experience in Court of Protection work and adult safeguarding
  • Working knowledge of Mosaic
  • Confidence managing complex cases and working collaboratively

Court of Protection, safeguarding, and Mosaic experience are essential for this opportunity.

About the team

You’ll join colleagues who share knowledge, work through challenges together, and recognise the contribution you bring. It’s an opportunity to use the breadth of your adult social care experience while continuing to develop your practice.

Why work with Leaders in Care?

  • Competitive pay
  • Weekly check-ins, with ongoing support throughout your placement
  • Straightforward timesheets and payroll, making the practical side easier
  • A service backed by over 600 five-star Google reviews
