Accounting Manager

Overview

We are seeking a skilled financial professional to oversee and manage our accounting team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare accurate financial reports and forecasts to guide decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support the audit process by preparing necessary documentation and liaising with external auditors.
• Develop and implement robust financial controls and procedures.
• Mentor and train accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Nice to have

• Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) is a plus.
• Experience with financial forecasting and budgeting.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance.
