Overview

As a Senior Solutions Architect on AWS’s Data & AI Solutions Architecture team in the UK, you will guide financial institutions in leveraging AWS to transform their business. You act as a trusted technical advisor, shaping secure, scalable, and value-driven cloud solutions. You’ll collaborate across teams to align technical design with customer goals and help customers realize operational efficiency and innovation. This role offers the chance to influence product direction and work on AI/ML-driven architectures in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with the customer and act as their trusted advisor
• Lead architecture design reviews and workshops across capital markets domains to drive business value
• Design scalable and secure solutions leveraging AWS services and AI/ML technologies
• Collaborate with sales to develop and execute customer engagement strategies
• Create technical content and reference architectures for capital markets use cases
• Influence AWS product roadmap based on customer needs

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or professional/military experience
• Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries
• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• Experience communicating with executive-level stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Experience across technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, security, networking, data & analytics
