As Team Leader at Penhaligon’s Regent Street, you support the store management to deliver exceptional customer experiences and hit commercial targets. You may cover Store Manager duties in their absence, coach the team, and uphold Penhaligon’s standards. You help create memorable fragrance stories on the shop floor and drive store performance with a collaborative, guest‑centric approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the management team with day-to-day store operations
• Step into Store Manager responsibilities in their absence
• Motivate team to achieve sales and productivity goals
• Ensure all Fragrance Consultants deliver high levels of customer service
• Analyze sales data to identify opportunities and needs
• Manage client database to grow sales and relationships
• Resolve customer queries and complaints quickly
• Support training, coaching and development of team members
• Execute cash-control procedures (bank deposits, safe funds, petty cash)
• Collaborate with Store Manager on staffing, risk, security, cash controls and inventory
• Support visual merchandising directives and uphold store standards
• Bring the Penhaligon’s brand to life through fragrance consultations and storytelling

Key requirements

• Experience in niche fragrance, beauty, premium or luxury retail
• Team Leader, Supervisor, Key Holder or Senior Sales/Fragrance Consultant experience preferred
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Passion for fragrance and creating memorable customer experiences
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize in a busy retail environment
• Commercial mindset and motivation to achieve sales targets
• Confidence to motivate and support others and lead by example on the shop floor
• Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member
• Professional, confident and enthusiastic, embodying Penhaligon’s personality
