This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging projects that support critical infrastructure worldwide, whilst enjoying flexible working arrangements and genuine long-term career stability.What You’ll Be DoingAs a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering bespoke engineered systems from concept through to completion. You will lead electrical engineering activities across multiple projects while supporting and mentoring a small team of engineers and designers.Key responsibilities include:Leading electrical engineering activities on complex capital equipment projectsDeveloping control philosophies from P&ID documentationProducing electrical calculations including cable sizing, motor sizing, heat loss and intrinsic safety calculationsCreating I/O schedules and electrical specificationsSpecifying instrumentation, PLC hardware and electrical equipmentReviewing and approving technical documentation and engineering designsLiaising with suppliers, vendors and manufacturing partnersSupporting continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processesMentoring and developing junior engineersManaging technical workload allocation and project prioritiesWhat We’re Looking ForWe are interested in speaking with experienced Electrical Engineers who can combine strong technical capability with leadership skills.Essential experience:Proven experience in electrical design and project engineeringExperience producing electrical calculations and specificationsAbility to interpret customer specifications and technical documentationExperience working with industrial control systemsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesDesirable experience:PLC systems knowledge (Siemens or Rockwell)Instrumentation and process control experienceHazardous area (ATEX) applications knowledgeAutoCAD experienceExperience within process, water treatment, chemical, manufacturing, marine, oil & gas, renewable energy or industrial engineering environmentsWhat’s On Offer?Basic salary of
