Product Manager – Enterprise Software
MCS Group is partnering with an established B2B enterprise software company as they look to appoint an experienced Product Manager to join their growing product function.
This is an opportunity for a commercially minded Product Manager who enjoys being close to engineering, taking ownership of delivery and turning complex customer requirements into working software.
We’re not looking for someone who simply manages a backlog or moves tickets through Jira. We’re looking to connect with Product Managers who enjoy making decisions, challenging assumptions, working closely with technical teams and taking real ownership of getting products and features delivered.
This role will suit someone who enjoys the practical side of product management. Someone who understands the bigger picture but is equally comfortable getting into the detail with engineers, solving delivery challenges and ensuring commitments are met.
Pretty much remote/working from home – within Northern Ireland – with 1-2 days per month expectation to be in office.
The Role
The Product Manager will own product delivery from initial requirements through to release, ensuring teams are clear on priorities, scope and expectations.
Work closely with engineering teams to develop accurate estimates, challenge assumptions and establish realistic delivery commitments.
Balance customer requirements, commercial priorities and technical considerations to make informed product decisions.
Take ownership of the product backlog and roadmap, ensuring priorities translate into measurable progress.
Work alongside senior product leadership to support the evolution of an established enterprise software platform.
Drive accountability across teams, proactively identifying blockers and keeping delivery on track.
Engage with internal stakeholders and customers to understand requirements and translate these into clear, actionable plans.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Product Manager within a B2B software or enterprise SaaS environment.
A strong track record of software delivery, with the ability to work effectively alongside engineering teams.
Experience managing complex products, competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
Commercial awareness and the confidence to make decisions and challenge stakeholders when needed.
A good understanding of software development processes, estimation and agile delivery methodologies.
Someone pragmatic, organised and comfortable taking ownership rather than simply coordinating activity.
Strong communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and commercial stakeholders.
Salary
Up to £85,000 plus benefits.
