Overview

In this role you ensure the integrity of our security capabilities across data, identity, email, network and endpoint environments. You will implement and optimise security controls, collaborating with cross-functional teams to strengthen our defence against cyber threats. You will identify gaps, diagnose root causes and deliver remediation using structured analysis. You will define security standards and guardrails and promote their adoption across the organisation. The role offers the chance to contribute to a fast-moving retail tech landscape and shape our security posture at scale.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and strengthen security capabilities across data, identity, email, network and endpoint environments
• Configure, optimise and support security controls, technologies, tools and processes
• Identify security gaps, diagnose root causes and deliver remediation
• Define and implement security standards, guardrails, policies and procedures
• Collaborate with stakeholders and external vendors to integrate security services and communicate issues clearly to non-technical audiences

Key requirements

• At least three years’ relevant infrastructure security experience across data, identity, email, network or endpoint security
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, CrowdStrike and network security solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess configurations and logs, identify security gaps or anomalies and reduce risk
• Clear communication and effective collaboration skills when working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment
