Contracts Manager

Overview

As Contracts Manager, you will oversee electrical compliance work across multiple contracts and lead a small engineering team. You’ll drive planning, scheduling, and subcontractor management to maximize productivity and customer service. You will own commercial aspects, including pricing and margin control, with a clear path to senior leadership as the business grows. This role offers autonomy, growth through a recent merger, and a chance to shape a growing, market-leading team.

Responsibilities

• Operational ownership of electrical compliance work orders across multiple contracts
• Lead and develop a team of 4-5 engineers plus planning & scheduling
• Commercial responsibility: pricing remedials and installs, margin control, subcontractor rate negotiation
• Oversee work orders from instruction to completion
• Negotiate with subcontractors and manage external delivery to hit turnover and gross profit targets

Key requirements

• Background in electrical contracting or electrical compliance (commercial/industrial/facilities)
• Proven experience managing or supervising engineers/contract delivery
• Commutable to Tonbridge, seeking local role
