Warehousing & Shipping Supervisor

Overview

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will lead the Bedford warehouse on an evening shift, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations, inventory accuracy, and safe, organized storage. You will collaborate with customer service, transport, and 3PL partners to optimize flow and performance. You drive safety, quality, and KPI reporting while shaping the team’s daily performance. Responsibilities

• Lead and direct warehouse personnel, transactors, and inventory clerks
• Manage day-to-day warehousing activities
• Coordinate with customer service, transport, 3PL warehouses, and other departments
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas
• Conduct daily Gemba walks and safety/quality inspections
• Contribute to strategic planning with warehouse data
• Implement inventory control measures to minimize stock and maximize accuracy
• Ensure stock management system integrity and accuracy
• Create and report KPIs for warehouse and staff performance
• Lead daily performance monitoring meetings
• Optimize labor use and costs according to workforce planning
• Ensure compliance with OHS policies and HS regulations
• Investigate workplace accidents and follow up corrective actions

Key requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management in food/manufacturing
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
• Knowledge of MS Office
• Availability and flexibility to manage all shifts
