Overview

As a seasoned HR Consultant, you will lead a large-scale Housing Service restructure within a local government context, guiding senior leaders through a compliant change programme. You will partner with executives to design proposals, support managers through consultation and engagement, and ensure the new structure is embedded with clear stakeholder communication. This role offers meaningful impact by driving transformation across housing services and aligning with council objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of the large-scale Housing Service restructure programme
• Partner with senior leaders to develop and implement restructuring proposals
• Support managers through the change process, including consultation and employee engagement
• Ensure successful implementation and embedding of the new organisational structure
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and employees throughout the programme

Key requirements

• Significant HR Consultant experience, preferably in local government
• Proven experience leading and supporting organisational restructures and change programmes
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation related to organisational change, consultation and redundancy
