Job Description Senior Civil Engineer n 6 month rolling contract n Hybrid/Flexible n Location – UK n Inside IR35 (Umbrella/PAYE only) n Role Description: n We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer supporting our teams across Frameworks in the UK covering Wastewater & Clean water projects both non-infra and infrastructure. n Role accountabilities: n – Take a lead role on civil design and/or packages of work n – Excellent communication skills n – Liaise with other disciplines and coordinate designs with team members and supply chain n – Liaison with client, the supply chain and other project stakeholders n – Preparation of high-quality design drawings and associated other Construction-Ready documentation n – Preparation of clear and well-structured design calculations, reports, drawings and other deliverables n – Work in accordance with our Business Management processes and procedures n – Assist in achieving wider business goals for positive Safety, Health, Quality and Sustainability outcomes n – Promote a culture of innovation and fostering continuous improvement n – Develop hands-on experience of commercial, programme and financial matters n – Mentor and support the development of less experienced members of staff n Qualifications & Experience: n – Degree in Civil Engineering or other directly related degree n – Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status and membership of a professional institution such as ICE, CIWEM, IWO n – Strong technical design experience on water projects n – Good working knowledge and understanding of Water Industry Clients and Contractors n – Good delf-motivation, influencing and people management skills n – Knowledge and experience of BIM led design and digital tools such as REVIT / Civils 3D n – Good working knowledge and understanding of the applicable British Standards, UK Industry Codes of Practice and Water Specifications. n n JBRP1_UKTJ
