Full Time, Permanent n Lead a High-Performing Breeder Farm Team n We are seeking an experienced and motivated Farm Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of one of our breeder laying farms. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with poultry experience and strong leadership skills to play a key role in delivering excellent bird welfare, production performance, biosecurity standards, and team development. n Reporting to the Area Manager , you will lead a team of 7 people and take ownership of flock performance, farm operations, and continuous improvement across the site. n Key Responsibilities n n Manage daily farm operations to achieve optimal flock performance, including hatching egg production and hatchability targets. n Monitor bird health, behaviour, welfare, and environmental conditions, taking proactive action where required. n Ensure strict compliance with biosecurity, health & safety, and welfare standards. n Maintain Red Tractor and industry assurance scheme requirements. n Lead, coach, train, and motivate a team of 7 employees. n Maintain accurate records to support performance monitoring, stock control, and audit readiness. n Work closely with the Area Manager, veterinary teams, and support functions. n Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of equipment, ventilation systems, and farm infrastructure. n Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance farm performance and productivity. n n What We’re Looking For n ? Previous poultry experience, ideally within a breeder or laying environment n ? Farm management or supervisory experience n ? Strong leadership and people management skills n ? Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving n ? Excellent communication and organisational skills n ? Full UK Driving Licence n ?
