Job Description Audit Manager n Liverpool | Circa £60,000 | Excellent Career Progression n Our client, an established and growing accountancy practice in Liverpool, is looking for an ambitious Audit Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA/ACCA-qualified accountant seeking a varied client portfolio, greater commercial involvement and a clear pathway towards Responsible Individual (RI) status . n Working with a diverse range of SMEs, owner-managed businesses, not-for-profit organisations and professional practices, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality audits, developing client relationships and contributing to the firm’s continued growth. n The Role n n Lead audit assignments from planning through to completion. n Manage a varied portfolio of clients across commercial and not-for-profit sectors. n Lead, mentor and develop a team of 3–4 staff. n Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services. n Get involved in pitches, tenders and business development. n Undertake ad hoc assignments, including due diligence and complex accounting projects. n Support audit quality control and help maintain the highest professional standards. n n About You n You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, with a strong general practice background and experience operating at Audit Manager level.
